"If my dearest wish somehow reached someone Will the night change After I trace it with my lines?" •·················•·················• Sorry to disappoint, but there is no cup sake slide solo in this arrangement 😅 This took a lot longer than I expected, but I had a real fun time arranging this song! It's a song that's quite different from the others I've attempted before, especially with its complex bassline, so I thought it'd be an interesting challenge to give it a shot. I was not disappointed. To convey the feel of the lively bassline as best I knew how to, I had to employ some techniques that I'm not well-practiced in, like palm percussions and weaving in bass notes with the thumb between beats (moving the thumb independently of my palm). I have also never utilized this much of the fretboard in a single arrangement thus far, and it's been quite the journey training my fretting hand to fly across the fretboard at speed enough for this piece. It's been a great challenge tackling this song, and I've learned a lot. It's not perfect, but I'm very happy to finally be able to share a decent performance of it!
