The 318ti has super weird rear speakers that are housed in even weirder mounts. There are some solid resources for pulling these out and replacing them but nobody really talks about disassembling the mount without breaking them or repairing them, which I highly recommend! There are a few versions of the 318ti sound system -- the 10 speaker version is called the "HiFi" version. If you've got the HiFi version you absolutely have an amp in the trunk on the lefthand side behind the carpet (behind the CD changer if you've got one). There is an optional subwoofer, it doesn't seem like many people have it at all.
