37610 & 37425 with the Network Rail Test Train, 20th/21st June 2025

Due to operational issues, believed to be defective air conditioning in the coaching stock on what was the hottest week of the year so far, the Anglia test train circuit was truncated to just Friday 20th - Saturday 21st June. This video covers 1Q99, which should have started from Cambridge, in reality it picked up the schedule roughly right time at Ely, then continued along its usual routes. I observed it passing Manningtree and arriving at Mistley. At Mistley the train reversed relatively quickly and I was caught out, hence the rather grim mobile phone clip at the end of the train crossing the road bridge! The locomotives used were 37610 in a "sort of" BR Blue with full yellow noses livery & 37425 "Concrete Bob" carrying a heritage "Regional Railways" livery.
