Prophet Remark Row: An uneasy calm prevailed in Jharkhand’s Ranchi on Saturday, less than 24 hours after a protest against suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s inflammatory remarks on Prophet Mohammad turned violent. Jharkhand police made a sensational revelation, claiming that Nupur Sharma's posters were circulated ahead of protests. Massive protest has erupted against ex-BJP leader Nupur Sharma over her controversial comments against Prophet Muhammad. Protesters demands include arrest of Nupur Sharma & ban on people commenting against the community. Protesters hurled rocks at police in several towns and cities and police used wooden batons and tear gas to disperse the protests in Hyderabad, Saharanpur, Prayagraj, Moradabad and Kanpur.
