I Encountered Another MESS In Sudbury Junction

A mess in Sudbury Junction with some weird things happening on rails! When you see a 13 hour late passenger train stopped by the crossing for 40 minutes with a local train blocking another crossing moving and stopping, there's definitely something going on. When I got to the tracks, what I saw was a 13 hour late VIA 2 sitting just before the crossing (made its station stopped 40 minutes prior and couldn't proceed) and a local (CN 598) stopped before the other crossing with a couple of workers on each side. 598 started moving right after (still with two workers on each side of the train) with a grey striped duo as it would repeat moving and stopping. VIA 2 was still not moving, and then a northbound stack train (CN 107) showed up with one fresh engine pulling the enture train by itself, going around VIA 2 through the siding track. I'm sure VIA 2 could've met CN 107 at Hotrum (near Coniston). After 107 cleared VIA 2 got lights and finally took off, with another hour delayed. Meanwhile 598 was still blocking the crossing for another 10 minutes until it finally got out of the way. I feel bad for the pickup truck who had to wait for all of this, since he showed up moments after 598 started passing. Definitely a strange evening out here.
