Thought I would do a new apple pie cooking video. It's so easy, even I can do it. The trick is to use nothing but really good apples, no fillers or sugary goo, just good apples. The best apples in the stores are organic. The commercial apples are tasteless delivery systems for pesticides and other toxins. Make sure you select your apples based on how they smell. If they don't smell sweet or tart, they won't make a tasty pie. Usually 2 Grannie Smith and 1 Pink Lady are enough to make a pie. Sprinkle a little bit of turbinado sugar on the top just before putting it in the oven. Do not add any other ingredients, spices or sugars.
