Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 6 April 2025. In this video, we begin with a truck accident outside Stellenbosch in South Africa today. Additionally, the high water levels that keep increasing from Vaal Dam and along the Vaal River are causing flooding issues at Parys and Bothaville. In today's video, we explore Ruiterbos on a misty morning. Mist and rain in Morgans Bay in the Eastern Cape Province. Next, Lions in the Kruger National Park. We then visit the Parks Fresh Produce and Pizzaria in Benoni for lunch. The video also highlights the picturesque Swartberg Mountain Pass south of the town Prince Albert. Moving on, we attend and support the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town. Here's a short weather forecast for South Africa today: Good day, South Africa! Today, due to weather conditions, SAWS are issuing a Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall, which may lead to localized flooding affecting settlements, roads, and bridges. This is particularly pertinent for areas stretching from Port Alfred to Port Edward and the surrounding interior regions. Additionally, a Yellow Level 1 warning has been issued for strong winds that could disrupt activities at ports and harbours. Mariners should exercise caution due to difficulties in navigation, especially Port Edward. Please plan your travels accordingly, as increased travel times are expected in the eastern parts of the North-West province. Stay safe and remain alert to changing weather conditions.
