Their small but deadly kill-teams are assembled from warriors of rival Chapters and equipped with specialized weapons designed to destroy alien races such as Orks, Tyranids, Necrons, and the T’au. Operating beyond the limits of the Codex Astartes, they study alien biology, recover forbidden technology, and use knowledge that many in the Imperium would consider heresy. Service in the Deathwatch comes with a brutal cost.
