Please Like, Share and Subscribe, Thank you! Looks like the subwassertang is growing faster than the Java moss and the ball of string algae. I will remove the algae if it gets too bad. Maintenance: I squeeze out the sponge once a week, sometimes every two weeks. And top it off with fresh tap water. Thank you! Easy, all you need is a sponge filter combined it with air or pump. In my case, I’m using a water pump with the sponge sitting on top of it. I set the pump filter in an enclosed plastic container with little holes drilled on the container, the reason is to keep baby fish and shrimps from getting crushed in the pump, somehow they always manage to get in, so some will die. I keep the lights on for 10 to 12 hours a day, no heater needed. I squeeze out the sponge once every other week or two. I top it off with tap water when it’s low, no chemicals added ever. After December 2025, this tank will be 2 years old, last night I removed 2 handful of Java moss and threw it in my 65 gallon tank. Not sure how it will grow there cause I have bigger fish in there. #favorite #fish #golden Chinese algae eater #Subwassertang Moss (Round Pellia) #dumboearguppy #snail ramshorn #moss #fish #aquarium #algae #bucephalandra plant #anubias plant #aquarium
