Our coldest night yet!! Was Winter Van Life in Japan a mistake? The temperatures drop seriously below zero as we head North on our Japanese Road Trip! With treacherous roads and extreme weather conditions, can our little Mini RV Campervan handle everything Japanese winter in a van brings? In todays video we continue our Journey North in pursuit of the snow, and it finds us! We visit a beautiful heritage site in the mountains, explore an ancient samurai region, enjoy soaking in a local onsen and face harrowing cold temperatures in pursuit of a beautiful bridge. But now we are back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and have now made our way to Japan.
