Read description for details. Just two pulls on a Dyno from my Almost 200k mile Mercedes-Benz 420 SEL Powered by the M116.9 4.2l SOHC V8 with all the might of the Reaganomics Era. Both Dyno Pulls were done by RhinoDyno Performance and The event we were at was hosted by the Wonderful People at High Octane Bakery. We ended up pulling about 155-160ish Horsepower at the wheels. Taken into account drive train loss and it looks like that this 420 SEL is still making about stock numbers plus some for a California Emissions car (No longer in California). About 210-230hp at the crank now from deleting the factory exhaust and Smog pump. The Exhaust was Fabricated from scratch by the Professionals at Detroit Drifting Company in Livonia Michigan for show and off road usage only. Tig welded with 304 Stainless Steel and complete with 2 12inch bottle style resonators, 2 Y-pipes and 2 passthrough mufflers From Vibrant Performance. We will later be adding a Helmholtz Resonator to eliminate what little drone this exhaust has. Not looking to make this car fast, just a very fun daily driver for long distances. Rides soft and quiet on the highway.
