Researcher explains: Can we prevent gang crime?

There is much discussion about gang crime in Sweden – a huge and complex problem. There are no easy solutions, but there is one thing that we can do: invest in vital interventions early in a child’s life. A good example of early intervention to prevent crime and exclusion is extended home visiting programmes in vulnerable areas. Engaged fathers are also very important for the health and development of their children.
