Scale Modified 1/12 MN 168 Range Rover

The MN168 Range Rover has been modified by swapping the stock portal axles for MN straight axles from an MN82. The lowered the ride height and was a first step towards a more scale looking appearance. The replacement axles moved the wheel fitting to standard 5mm hex allowing the use of a 3DP wheel that I had previously created for this type of RC. The wheels are nominally 1.3" and the visible diameter is scaled to the 16" wheels the real vehicle would have been fitted with in. WPL V4 tyres are mounted on the printed wheels. The body was finished with some BB asic detailing to bring out the rugged good looks of the original design. The links to the products used are below...
