The film had its world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on January 22, and began a theatrical limited release on June 24, 2016, before opening wide on July 1. The film has been positively received by critics. Dano plays Hank, a man who is attempting suicide after being lost on an island, when he sees a corpse wash ashore portrayed by Radcliffe. He develops a type of friendship with the dead body and discovers that he can manipulate the cadaver like a multi-purpose tool and ends up slowly reanimating him from the dead. The directors, Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won the Best Director or Directing award in the US Dramatic category at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Lyrics: "Cave Ballad": Crazy I'm fucking crazy Maybe just maybe I'll make it alone Rescued Thought I was rescued But you're just a dead dude And I'm gonna die There's gotta be a better way to get out of here. "River Rocket": Heartless How were you heartless? I saw your sadness And made it my own Crazy (Tell me if you don't mind) (The immediate wonder the fatal attraction) Totally crazy (That told you to run like the wind) (We've got to depend on each other to function now) We're fuckin sailing (And I wanna climb in your brain devour the where on we know you have feelings of you're still afraid of the shame) And we won't ever die (I promise I'll fix it its all for a reason) You just have to remember That we're all here for a purpose And the Universe picks it's time (everything, everywhere matters to everything) Heartly (everything, everywhere matters to everything) (The immediate wonder the fatal attraction that told you to run like the wind) How are you Heartly? (everything, everywhere matters to everything) (We've got to depend on each other to function now) I see a sad me (everything, everywhere matters to everything) (I want to climb in your brain devour the where on we know you still have feelings of you're still afraid of the shame) mirrored in your soul (I promise I'll fix it its all for a reason) You just have to remember that were all here for a purpose and the Universe picks it's time (everything, everywhere matters to everything) "Montage": WOoooo Pop popcorn AHH (Da da da) Montage OHH dum dum dum Now we killed a raccoon We are using your body like it's a machine gun Now we are shooting some fish Our friendship is blossoming Let's eat the stuff we killed Now we started a fire I have to admit I'm enjoying your company Are we falling in love? All we ever needed is a Montage I'm hanging from vines and I'm dancing Da Da Da Da Da Dancing WOoooo True friendship Montage, Montage, Montage, Montage All we ever needed is a Montage WooOOO ooooooo.
