Skin Deep Fundraising Pitch

"Skin Deep" is Jasmine and Mel's biggest project thus far. It is a 15 minute horror film delving into the co-dependency of two best friends, taking "toxic friendship" to it's extreme. It involves malicious doppelgängers, intense fight scenes and lots of blood. Horror is a genre so rarely led by women, after writing this piece Mel and Jasmine have sought out a female director, Mikaela Franco who specialises in folk horror. Working alongside her, their incredible producer Ethan Bourke and cinematographer Luke O'Donnell the team are confident and thrilled to bring this eerie story to life. Dancing dog productions, led by Jasmine Sarkis, has a heavy focus on supporting emerging artists. This project is meaningful spring point for herself and Melanie, as it will be their first big jump into the international film festival circuit.
