Breaking News: AAP claims victory in Delhi mayoral polls which have finally been held. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the municipal corporation of Delhi's mayoral election, and East Patel Nagar councillor Shelly Oberoi, a first-time candidate, was elected as Delhi's new mayor (MCD). Parliamentarians cast their ballots first. According to officials, members had 90 minutes to cast their votes and mobile phones were not permitted inside polling places. The BJP, on the other hand, received 116 votes. Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, congratulated Oberoi on Twitter by writing, "The people have triumphed.
