Lolita Carbon of Asin | Live at SOS-OWA: A Prayer Ritual Sagada Tribal Arts & Music Festival March 8, 2020 | Sagada, Mountain Province, Philippines Sos-Owa a prayer ritual to commemorate the “Re-Imagination of Santiago Bose’s Mural" at St. Mary’s High School, Sagada, Mt. Province, Philippines. the original mural created by Santi in the early 1980’s, had mostly faded away. so too, did Santi, having died on December 2, 2002. a group of Cordillera artists from Baguio led by Kawayan de Guia, all artists mentored by Santi, took on the job of “re-imagining” the mural. as part of this project, a music concert was also held, featuring AmanSinaya, Lolita Carbon, & Weather the Roots.
