Today we take an overnight bus to the little town of HUARAZ, the hiking capital of PERU. The town of Huaraz sits at 3,000m / 9,800ft above sea level and is surrounded by the snow capped mountains of the Peruvian Andes. While most of our time here will be spent in the wild, there are still a couple of things to do during our few days in town. We were fortunate to splurge a little on our overnight bus as there was a massive accident causing an 8hr delay.
