There are around 3 railway stations in Kolkata - Howrah, Sealdah, and Kolkata Railway Station. This station is located in Chitpur and can easily be reached from the Kolkata International Airport. 🚕 How to Reach the Station There are numerous ways to reach this station including: Bus - You can get direct buses to Kolkata Railway Station from most parts of Kolkata that will cost you anywhere between 10 and 20 INR. From the airport, you can get buses to the railway station from the Airport Gate No. 3, 2, or 1 bus stops. Cab - For convenience, you can opt for a Uber cab which can take anywhere between 250 - 500 INR, depending on where you are traveling from in Kolkata. 🍔 Kolkata Railway Station Food There are a few food stalls and shops located at Kolkata Railway Station. ➡️ Facilities Available at Kolkata Railway Station Waiting Lounge - There is a waiting room available for people to sit and charge their phones before their train arrives. They charge 30 INR for an hour. Retiring Room - If you are arriving late or staying in Kolkata for a couple of hours, you can also use the Retiring Room here. It costs 250 INR for 12 hours and 450 INR for 24 hours. Cloak Room - To store your luggage, there is a clock room available at the premise as well.
