ବଡ଼ ଖବର ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ SIR...SIR Process Begins in Odisha: Voter List Mapping, Verification & Updates| SIR Starting from April 1, Odisha will begin the SIR process, which stands for Special Independent Revision of the voter list. In this process, the 2025 electoral roll is being matched with the 2002 voter list to verify and correct voter details. So far, 90% of voter information has been verified, and names along with fathers’ names are being mapped with the 2002 records. By April 1, authorities expect to complete mapping for another 8% of voters. For the remaining 2%, data may not be available. Around 10% of voter mapping has been identified as challenging. CEO R. Santhana Gopalan stated that mapping 95% of voters will make the SIR process smoother. He also clarified that voters already listed in the 2025 roll do not need to provide Aadhaar.
