This Video is For Educational Purpose. Queen Suthida of Thailand is the queen consort of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, also known as Rama X. Born Suthida Tidjai on June 3, 1978, in Hat Yai city, Songkhla province, Thailand, she came from a humble background and is of Thai-Chinese descent.¹ Before becoming queen, Suthida worked as a flight attendant for JALways and Thai Airways International. She later joined the Thai military and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a general in 2016. Suthida's relationship with King Vajiralongkorn began while she was serving as his bodyguard. They married on May 1, 2019, and she was crowned queen consort three days later. As queen, Suthida has undertaken various royal duties, including attending ceremonies and supporting charitable causes. She has also been recognized for her military service and has received several honors and awards.
