This is what Vermont Castings says is a perfect operating New Encore 2040...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!!! I have a smoke filled house, fire will run away exceeding 800 degrees, with the air intake damper door completely closed. Leaving me with no way to shut it down. Can put no more than three pieces of wood in at a time, making stoking the fire to last the night impossible. Otherwise fire runs away. But the manufacture "Vermont Castings" says they will not replace this new stove that we've had this problem from day one when their dealer "Dave Barrett, Logan, Ohio" installed it.
