The SUCKS feat. Atze on drums - Robert Strohmeyer, Bass - Burkhard Höfler, guitar - Mike Höfle, vocals. This was The Suck's greatest hit - a song they played sometimes 3 times at an evening. Vaterstaat - the other song here - lasts only 90 seconds, because I ran out of tape.The SUCKS were Mannheims best Punk Band between 1981+82. The sound was a perefct punk sound. The outfit of the group was close to the Pistols and we all loved The Sucks.This live clip was filmed with one of the first video cameras for private use. The price was around 2000 dollars. But normally you needed two filmlights for filming and you have to carry a small videorecorder with you. I thought they woold have a good Stage-Lightshow but it was mostly dark with a bit light - but this clip is a real dokument of the Mannheim Punk & New Wave Scene in the early 1980s (like the other clips of that event too) .More clips of that famous & legendary PUNK & WAVE Festival CHLORLEICHEN in Eppelheim (near Heidelberg) will follow.
