N979 Leek - Zevenhuizen - Een-West - Haulerwijk (NL)

The N979 is a provincial road in the north of the country and runs south from Leek to Haulerwijk. The provincial road runs through no fewer than three provinces: Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland. The video starts in Leek at the junction with the N372 (Tolbert - Roden). Via the center of Leek we drive to the Leekster Hoofddiep (a canal). That's where the N979 officially starts. We keep driving along the canal until we reach the village of Zevenhuizen. After Zevenhuizen it goes further south and we drive for 1.5 kilometers in the province of Drenthe through the hamlet of Een-West to finally arrive in the Frisian Haulerwijk. The N979 ends at a roundabout where the N917 towards Drachten and the N918 towards Oosterwolde also connect. =================================== De N979 is een provinciale weg in het noorden van het land en loopt vanaf Leek zuidwaarts naar Haulerwijk. De provinciale weg loopt door liefst drie provincies: Groningen, Drenthe en Friesland. De video start in de plaats Leek ter hoogte van de aansluiting met de N372 (Tolbert - Roden). Via het centrum van Leek rijden we naar het Leekster Hoofddiep (een kanaal). Daar begint de N979 officieel. Tot aan het dorp Zevenhuizen blijven we langs het kanaal rijden. Na Zevenhuizen gaat het verder zuidwaarts en rijden we gedurende 1,5 kilometer in de provincie Drenthe door het gehucht Een-West om uiteindelijk in het Friese Haulerwijk te arriveren. Daar eindigt de N979 op een rotonde waar ook de N917 richting Drachten en de N918 richting Oosterwolde op aansluiten.
