Welcome to Pattern and Craft! My Quick Tip Knitting videos are shorter videos designed for learning a new stitch or technique in only a few minutes! In this video I show you how to create a beautiful decorative knitted cable which is worked over 4 stitches and only has a 2 row repeat! The result looks complex but the stitch pattern is fairly simple. This cable also utilizes twist stitches, slip stitches, knit stitches and purl stitches. The tutorial is for the cable only and is intended for those who are already familiar with basic knitting. This cable is best paired with reverse stockinette, but feel free to pair it with whatever stitches you prefer, you could even add lace in between or another style of cable!
