Multi-Fluorescence NTA - Next Generation EV Characterization with Particle Metrix ZetaView®

Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) with the Particle Metrix ZetaView® instrument family allows fast and reliable measurement of size, concentration, and Zeta Potential of nanoparticles in the size range from 10 nm to 2 µm. On basis of the scatter data, the user cannot recognize and distinguish whether the particles are biological vesicles, protein aggregates, inorganic precipitates or simply cell waste. However, the fluorescence detection capability of the ZetaView® instrument allows the user to get biochemical information about particles, thus increasing the resolution and discriminatory power of the data. In this video we describe the cutting-edge measurement technology of the ZetaView® instrument family and present the latest f-NTA results on extracellular vesicle phenotyping using membrane dyes and monoclonal antibodies.
