Category: Waterproofing and Damp-proofing with Australian Technology BRUSHCRETE is a two-component acrylic modified cementitious coating that only requires on-site mixing to form the ideal product to waterproof and resurfaces concrete, masonry, and most other construction materials. ADVANTAGES: • A 1mm coating provides anti-carbonation cover equivalent to over 80mm of concrete. • Waterproof-resists up to 7 Bars (70meter head of pressure) • Non-toxic ideal for potable water uses • Excellent adhesion. Bonds to porous and non-porous surfaces • Trafficable • High resistance to carbon dioxide and chloride • Breathable whilst repelling water, allows the substrate to breathe MIXING: BRUSHCRETE is supplied in premeasured units and should be mixed at the site utilizing clean containers. Slowly add the powder(Part A) to the liquid (Part B) and mix, using a slow speed drill fitted with a suitable paddle. MIX AND USE. Do not mix more materials that cannot be utilized under 30 minutes. Although BRUSHCRETE is supplied in pre-measured packs, part packs can be used by mixing 2 to 2.5 volumes of powder to 1 mixed during application. DO NOT RE-TEMPER WITH WATER. For trowel applications, use only 90% of Part B (approximately 4.5kg). APPLICATION: Simply apply by stiff brush, roller, or trowel to form a waterproof, flexible, trafficable coating. BRUSHCRETE provides an effective barrier to waterborne salts and atmospheric gases. Trowel application can be undertaken as necessary. It is recommended for general resurfacing, that each coat should be a minimum of 1mm thick.
