A winner of the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar for his first book, The Ivory Throne, he is also a columnist at Mint Lounge. Manu holds a PhD in history from King's College London. Anirudh Kanisetti is a public historian specialising in ancient and early medieval India. Author of Lords of the Deccan, he hosts Echoes of India and YUDDHA: The Indian Military History Podcast. A Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar winner, he has also received the Ramnath Goenka Sahitya Samman and Tata Literature Live’s Non-Fiction Book of the Year Award.
