Vaughan is experiencing a construction boom at the moment that has plenty of runway ahead. This development map covers over 400 acres of land centred around a newly completed subway stop at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, or VMC. Much of this land currently is vacant fields, and some big box retailers that are being relocated to accommodate the new office and condo towers. I'm lucky to have two experts featured in this video, Johnny Tan and Michelle Samson. They provide us with a deeper knowledge of the developments here to truly appreciate the scale of this transformation. We are only in the early stages of development with so much ahead, and that's why it qualifies as an up and coming neighbourhood in my books.
