Right to the Streets - film trailer

A teaser for GM Moving's final Right to the Streets movement film. Designed and delivered by GM Moving in partnership with Trafford Council, Open Data Manchester, and local community organisations in North Trafford, Right to the Streets explores ways to make streets and public spaces safe, joyful, and welcoming places where everyone is invited to be active and able to lead the lives they want. Funded through the Home Office Safer Streets Fund, Right to the Streets investigates concerns of safety on the streets as a key barrier to women and girls accessing or engaging with physical activity, active travel, and sports or cultural events in North Trafford. It aims to not only raise awareness of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) and street harassment, but to explore interventions that enable women and girls, and boys and men, to be active citizens in their communities, equipped with the tools, information, networks and agency to take action to stop VAWG and reclaim their right to the streets.
