[NSL Disruption] Trains Arriving/Departing NS16 Ang Mo Kio Middle Platform (Part 2)

A part 2 series of a similar video I made regarding to a similar type of fault that I made about 1 year and 2 months ago. This was the general situation at Ang Mo Kio station after the train fault occured near Orchard station, which resulted in a lot of chaos and confusion. Northbound trains going towards Ang Mo Kio are being diverted to the middle platform for service instead of the usual platform A as the faulty train is occupying the said platform instead. Some of the Southbound trains which usually withdraw after peak hours using the middle platform were forced to use platform B instead, causing train bunching between peak and off-peak hour trains. It was quite common to see confusion from passengers as some may be unaware of the aftermath of the train disruption situation at Ang Mo Kio station, such as passengers from the Northbound direction alighting from the middle platform thinking it was a peak hour withdrawal (Do not board train), while passengers on the Southbound direction may mistook peak hour withdrawal trains are passenger service trains since both withdrawals and servicing trains are running on the same platform B. As of around 10pm, the faulty train which was being stabled at platform A after the fault, was being sent back to Bishan Depot, making train services on the Northbound direction to resume service on the usual platform A instead of the middle platform at Ang Mo Kio station. Hopefully such situations would be prevented from happening again, and our trains would just stop breaking down 😭😭. 2025 had only just started and SMRT is already going through a tough time with their own train disruptions 💀💀.
