They are comforted to know that he has been taken into custody, that he is going to remain in custody for the next 90 days and that on October 31st will be back here, at which time the Setian's support, the District Attorney's recommendation, the probation report referenced by the District Attorney for a State Prison term of a minimum of 4 years 8 months for Lane Garrison, for the death of their son Vahagn and the serious injury of 2 fifteen year old girls." GARRISON TRIAL Former "Prison Break" actor Lane Garrison, who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a 2006 crash that killed a teenage passenger, was ordered on Thursday to undergo a 90-day evaluation in a prison to help a judge decide his sentence. Garrison will undergo a 'diagnostic' by parole officers and psychologists before returning to appear before Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox on Oct. 31. Fox said he was not moved by Garrison's celebrity status and did not care if Garrison had some notoriety. Garrison, 27, was driving a 2001 Land Rover on December 2 when he lost control and rammed a tree. The crash killed Vahagn Setian, a Beverly Hills High School student who would have turned 18 on Aug. 1. Two other passengers, both 15-year-old girls, survived.
