We took to the streets of Glasgow to see what punters make of the new Irn-Bru advert 'Made in Scotland from Girders' A Scots schoolboy has landed the lead role in Irn Bru’s latest TV advert which sees the return of the drinks brand’s iconic, “Made in Scotland from Girders” slogan. Little Davis Harvey, 13, had no acting experience when he was plucked from obscurity to star in the hilarious new commercial, which co-stars Still Game actor Sanjeev Kohli. Set in a corner shop, Davis is seen in his first ever role as a plucky ginger-haired kid who picks up a can of Irn-Bru, before going on to school Sanjeev’s shopkeeper on the merits of Scotland’s other national drink.
