(Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Bronx, New York — On October 9, 2025, NYPD officers from the 49th Precinct responded to 1015 East Gun Hill Road to locate 18-year-old Antonio Morales, wanted for a gunpoint robbery. When Sergeant Novak and Officer Santiago attempted to make contact, Morales fired multiple rounds from inside his apartment before forcing the door open and attempting to flee. A violent struggle ensued in the hallway, leaving Sergeant Novak injured. Morales then encountered Officer Santiago, who fired two rounds, striking him. Officers rendered medical aid and recovered Morales’ firearm at the scene.
