In this episode, I spend 24 hours inside Casa Alférez, a brutalist sanctuary designed by Ludwig Godefroy, tucked deep in the Mexican forest. Godefroy is known for his modern approach to brutalism and here he envisioned a concrete cabin that rises vertically into the trees, almost like a tower reaching for the light. I wanted to experience what it feels like to truly live inside architecture like this. Not just to see it, but to spend time with it. To wake up in it. To hear it breathe with the forest. To understand how the space shapes your thoughts, your pace, your quiet moments. Through this stay I explore the monumental ceilings, the raw textures, and the stillness that fills every corner. The house feels both grounding and elevated, both heavy and light at the same time, and being here made me reflect on how design can guide the way we move, feel, and inhabit our own lives. This film is part of my ongoing journey exploring homes around the world and the emotional relationship we form with the spaces we call home. I booked Casa Alferez via Casita MX and you can too! https://bit.ly/4ok2DvC
