What if you could have a reusable notebook cover that better protected your notebooks? How would you make it? I blunder my way through a build but still come out of it with a final product that I'm rather fond of. IDKWID English Dictionary: Slug: (noun) a bound and uncovered collection of 16 to 50 sheets of paper, depending on how it is counted, that is designed to be easily replaceable in a notebook. Mentally derived from the lead bit used in ammunition. MUSIC CREDIT (in order of appearance) ---------------------- Diode: https://wangleline.bandcamp.com/track... I don't know if this step is entirely clear; rather than have the wire sitting on top of the leather, I cut holes so that the wire would be held in place by the leather, making it less likely to come out one way or another. 06:08 - I'm not a fan of awkward silences, so here's a chapter head 06:19 - Bending the wire to hold the paper slug 07:09 - Editor Max has an idea 07:27 - Wrap-up 07:32 - Gollum, gollum! 07:55 - Lessons learned: 0 08:12 - Are you delighted? 08:32 - Huh, the red light isn't on, I wonder if I'm recording… A BOOK I JUST READ ---------------------- I was going to read the book "Circe" by Madeline Miller with a group of friends, but we decided to read a different book. Unfortunately for me, I'd already bought and read the book in the 72 hours it took for that decision to change. "Circe" is a wonderful interpretation of classical Greek myth and explores the interaction of humanity and god-hood. I'm reminded dynamics between normal people and the Meth's of "Altered Carbon." It's a beautiful, well-told story that absolutely stuck the landing for me, and I strongly recommend you check it out. https://www.bookstorelink.com/9780316... #diyideas
