Bodycam DUI Arrest - 0.032% BAC Gets This Woman Arrested for DUI Because She is Only 19-Years-Old

On February 3, 2024, Whitman County Sheriff's Deputy Pilloud stopped a vehicle for speeding. The 19-year-old female driver admitted to consuming alcohol, so she was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. This included a portable breath test (PBT) with the result being 0.047% BAC. The woman was arrested for DUI (being under 21 with a BAC over 0.02%). She was transported to the Pullman police station for processing and an evidential breath test (EBT). The result of the EBT was 0.032%, which is still over the legal limit for someone under 21. She received the full treatment, which included a trip to the Whitman County Jail, the orange jail jumpsuit, and a bodyscan. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
