Join us for the 70th Pomeroy Trophy - known as the 'Pom' - held on a glorious sunny day @ Silverstone Circuit UK. Organised by The Vintage Sports Car Club UK this event attracts over 100 entrants in a wide range of cars from Edwardian vintage to modern sports with emphasis on the unusual! This years event saw the stunning Mk2 Rothmans David Sutton prepared Ford Escort that secured the World Championship for Drivers for Ari Vatanen and David Richards take to the track along with N1 WRC the Colin McRae 1096 Group A Subaru Impreza from @Prodrive. David Richards himself drove the Escort car 46 years after securing the WRC victory. We take a look round the open access pits and garage area and take in some track side action - it's amazing who you can bump into at an event like this! Check out the Scrutineering rule that involves being able to fit two suitcases in your car! What a great day out this was and well worth the £5 ticket price!
