Available Feb 22! I view medical cannabis (mmj) as a form of natural MEDICINE that God gave us to help with a great number of ailments. Like alcohol and grocery store meds, it should be taken RESPONSIBLY. Mmj is NOT for everyone; I believe the only negative side effect of cannabis is that it has the potential to cause "laziness" with certain people. But overall, I think it's a crime to label mmj as bad for your health, a "gateway drug", or any number of other wrong stereotypes that have unfortunately been attached to cannabis. Politics and giant corporations have recently realized the huge amount of money that can be made off mmj, which is why we're suddenly seeing a lot of biased rules being made in congress. As with all things, the power houses of this world seek to gain control of every aspect of our lives--if they can control these things, they can control the people. In Florida alone, we're seeing rules such as this: Yes, if you qualify, you can legally obtain a mmj medical card, HOWEVER, you must first turn over your firearms! That's right! In the state of Fl, you are not allowed to possess mmj and firearms at the same time. For an Army veteran like me, I find this rule RIDICULOUS! And downright unfair. I see this as a way to covertly disarm U.S. citizens by forcing us to trade in our Constitutional freedoms for what they have began to label a "controlled substance." So I wrote a song. 😇 It is my hope that the people of the world use this song to communicate this message: We wish to remain peaceful, but we want our freedom! How is it fair when a man in California can freely light up a bowl of mmj, while a man in Florida gets arrested for doing the same thing? Is California and Florida not part of the same country??!! The fact that this hypocrisy has gone on for so long makes no damn sense to me. Listen to my song. If you support the global legalization of mmj, you will relate to the lyrics.
