Upon reaching Provoka, the second town, we find it besieged by pirates so we do the heroic thing and slaughter all of them and steal their boat! That... is the heroic thing to do right? Anyway, with that task complete and some upgrades purchased we move back out into the world and continue exploring. Unfortunately, not all goes well. Layla is brutally murdered and loses out on a large portion of experience, forever putting him behind on experience gained.
