This master seem to give his students a lecture in some finer points of Xinyi Liuhe, as they all seem to be experienced in the art. As you can see they are Hui People(Chinese Moslems). There are Xinyi Quan, Xing Yi Quan, Dai Xinyi, Shaolin Xinyiba, Shaolin Xinyi Quan and Xinyi Liu He. They are all conected through Yue Fei or Ji Longfeng, or maybe both. Xinyi Quan(Mind Intention Boxing ) is is said to have been created by Song Dynasty General Yue Fei, who also was known for his Liuhe Spear and for creating Ying Zhao Quan.The Xinyi Liuhe(Mind Intent Six Harmonies Boxing has been devolped among Hui People( Chinese Moslems). The creation of Xinyi is contributed to Yue Fei, but many see this as unlikely. It was said that the style Yue Fei created was called Yi Quan(Intention Boxing ) and he passed it on to his officers. After his dead the art became lost until the end of the Ming Dynasty, when Ji Longfeng a marvelous Spear Master(he was known as Shen Qiang/Divine Spear) became an ancient manual from his masters which descriped the art of Yue Fei boxing method. Ji Longfeng or at least his diciples where also responsible to do a great deal in restoring and devolping Shaolin Quan at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. There are different sets which go back to him, or are influenced through his teachings. Like Shaolin Xinyi, or Shaolin Xinyiba or the Shaolin Qi Xing Quan(Seven Stars Fist) and other fist sets like Ti Shou Pao Quan, which is not passed down in the Shaolin Temple.
