Each year the Michigan Center Lake Clear Water Association hires an outside company to rid the lake of weeds. The lake was created by damming up the Grand River that flows from here into Lake Michigan. The average depth being only four feet, vegetation grows at undesirable rates that make boating and swimming difficult. So, the weed collector come out to help harvest the weeds. I just like saying weed. One of them, it seems, was overloaded possibly, capsized and became stunk in the lake bed. For over five hours crews worked to right the vessel, but with no success. They were able to right the boat the next morning after bringing the right tools for the job. I know this has zero to do with Cop Blocking, but from time to time I will put other things of interest on this channel.
