Is this the BEST region in India ?? | 7 days exploring Kerala, South India

Kerala is so much different than the rest of India. It's not what you think when you think of India. Instead, it's relaxing, its green and lush and tropical!! Beaches, backwaters, amazing food, and stunning festivals. It's India's secret heaven- and it's even been nicknamed , "God's Own Country". I traveled one week though through the northern part of Kerala, India. Kerala is located in South India and is full of places to see and explore. There are so many places for tourists to either relax or explore the cultures and colorful festivals. In this video, I traveled to five different regions that include: Kannur, Wayanad, Calicut (aka Kozhikode ), Kochi ( Cochin), and Alleppy. Kerala is known for its peaceful, relaxing natural beauty, and winding backwaters where you can enjoy a houseboat ride. Kerala has been nicknamed, “ God’s own country” , which you will hear everywhere. It is filled with green hillside landscapes, sandy beaches, and lush forests containing animals like elephants and tigers, and special birds. This area also has major fishing ports that, throughout history, have been used to trade spices and other goods with European and Arab nations. Kerala is known for many things, including its special traditions and festivals. In this video you will see part of a unique Theyyam festival that happens during the winter months, as well as a Kathikali performance that takes place throughout this region. We will also take an overnight houseboat through the beautiful and serene backwaters. Kerala is also known for its delicious food which is infused with coconut. In this video, I was able to learn and try so many great dishes and cuisines. If you are planning a trip to Kerala, this video will help you with your own itinerary, and provide you with an overview of several regions. And if you are new to India, in general, Kerala is the perfect way to get acquainted with, and a “soft” introduction to the country. There are plenty of amazing tourist places to visit!
