The Bottled Imp - Episode 106 ‘Why, what a lovely mask you have.” The Bottled Imp dons the most fancy mask we can find as we play Mascarade the card game for 2 to 13 players designed by Bruno Faidutti and published by Repos Productions. My other encounter with the game designer Bruno Faidutti is with Citadels ( • Citadels Review - with Ken Boyter ) so I was intrigued to see how Mascarade played. The aim of the game is to unmask your opponents by assuming the role of one to 13 different characters with the ultimate goal of being the richest player by the end of the game. Sounds easy? Well, let’s just say it’s not so easy when all the cards are played face down! You do get chances to look at the cards but fellow players can move cards around like dancers at a fine ball. Each character on the cards has a different ability to add a bit of spice to the game. You could be a Judge, a King, a Thief, or a Peasant amongst other characters. Plenty of bluffing is needed if you’re going to be the belle of the Mascarde. Have you got what is takes to uncover your fellow players and gain the gold and the glory? What’s in the box? 14 Character Cards, 14 Matching Character Card Tokens, 86 Coins, 1 Bank Card and a Rule Sheet. ------------------------------------------ The Bottled Imp Exploring the Realms of Fantasy. **** New shows every Wednesday & Friday **** SUBSCRIBE NOW!..... http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
