The Shenzhen Guangming Science Museum is located at the intersection of Guanguang Road and Guangming Avenue in the Guangming Central District, rising like a giant science fiction fortress. This large-scale museum is designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Its unique U-shaped layout resembles a "spaceship" ready to take off. The dark gray metal curtain wall, constructed with more than 90,000 pieces of special-shaped multi-curved stainless steel panels and giant cable glass, presents an incredible "transformation" effect at different times and in different weather conditions. Inside the museum, there are four permanent exhibition halls, namely "Hello World", "Better Life", "Smart Industry" and "Exploration of the Universe", 24 exhibition areas and 950 exhibition items. It officially opened to the public on December 28, 2023, and is open to the public from 9:30 to 17:30 (admission stops at 17:00) from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year (closed on Mondays, with separate arrangements for legal holidays).
