Toro lawn striper kit Are you torn between getting a $5000 mower or a $100 lawn attachment so you can stripe your lawn. Watch my video DIY How to Toro Lawn Striper Kit review to see if this will help you make up your mind. I always go in a little leery when I do these reviews. I feel the Toro Lawn Striper is moderately priced at around $100. You will need to purchase sand to put into the cylinder. I purchased some leveling sand at home depot for around $8. Overall the sand took me 11 minutes to put into the cylinder and the Toro striper kit installation took me about 15 minutes. I felt this was a reasonable amount of time. The instructions were clearly written and it was a pleasant experience. As of today I'm mowing at 1". Toro suggests that you do two boarder perimeter lawn passes before you jump into your stripes. These boarder perimeter passes give you just enough room to maneuver the lawn mower. Overall the Toro Striper Kit did what it does and that's create stripes. I was able to maneuver the lawn mower backwards and frontwards without any issues. I did not notice any slowing down issues with the added weight either. I wish there was a hinge attached to the weighted roller to make it easier to put on and off at the bottom of the mower. All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase.
