In this video I reflect on a question I’ve been thinking about lately: do people stop being performative once they learn to love themselves, or does self-love develop after we stop performing for others? While looking at my YouTube analytics and reflecting on conversations from Threads, I started noticing something interesting about authenticity, self-acceptance, and the way people respond when you simply show up as yourself. I also share what I’ve learned from the videos that performed best on my channel and how being natural and conversational seems to resonate more than trying to follow a script. This conversation touches on performative behavior, self-love, authenticity, personal growth, and the journey of discovering who you are when you stop trying to be who others expect. If this resonates with you, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. I love hearing different perspectives and reflecting together. Topics discussed in this video: self love vs performative behavior authenticity and personal growth why people act performative learning from YouTube analytics showing up as your authentic self personal reflections and life observations
