Lengthen, strengthen and plié your way to a leaner body with this full body Barre workout! No dance experience required, but you will feel graceful and lifted as a ballerina during this great 30 minute toning workout. All exercises are low impact and are performed at a manageable pace. After the gentle warmup, we will use a chair as our "barre" where we will perform exercises for the lower body. Specifically, the thighs and glutes and calves. You will need a pair of light hand weights for the upper body section. I'm using 3 pounds. Water bottles or tin cans work well to offer added resistance also. The remainder of the workout is performed seated in the chair. Here, we will work on our abs and core and finish with stretches for the whole body. I hope you enjoy the workout and feel amazing!
