Amazing Otis Traction Elevators @ Central Life Building - Ottawa, IL (Handycam Take)

(Recorded November 15th, 2024) These incredible Otis traction elevators are on separate controllers since the left car was installed in 1954, while the right car was installed in 1968. While the left car has had its fixtures replaced by KONE in the early 2000s with Innovation, it still retains it's vintage charm with the motor, controller, and bumper all still original! Meanwhile, the right one is completely original with little upgrades. The fanswitch is definitely interesting too to say the least, LOL!
