The Cimanggis - Cibitung section of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2 - or JORR 2 for short - has stalled quite some time ago. In this short video I bring a visit to the seemingly abandoned project site where I almost get stuck in the sticky red mud as the wet season is still going on and short sections of concrete for the 2x2 lane toll road are not connected yet. Land acquisition issues at several locations around the filming location are the cause of the huge delays in finishing this section of JORR2. It is not known when these problems will be solved and construction can be finished. For the time being, the pedestrian bridge crossing in the video doesn't have to be used. You can just hang around at the future toll road here.
